Printing Instructions
We have a HP 7740 multi-function printer/scanner/copier available to you so before you print you will need to install the drivers & connect to it. Note you must be on the Lokaalspace wifi to connect. Your monthly plan includes a certain number of printed pages before additional charges will apply. There is no limit of course on scanning! The printer supports letter, legal and A3 (11x17) paper sizes. We keep letter loaded into tray 1 and legal in tray 2. 11x17 paper can be inserted into tray 2 with some adjustments to the tray. The scanner supports letter and legal size either in the ADF or flatbed.
The best way to get the most out of printing and scanning capabilities is to download the drivers and install them on your computer.

Printing: If you are printing text only documents, please select “black only” or “Grey scale” in your print dialog window. Otherwise, the printer may use all the colour cartridges to produce a black colour. Colour ink is much more expensive thank black only, so thanks for helping us keep costs down and reduce waste.
Scanning: You can easily scan from the scanner to your computer over the network. If you’ve named your computer so it is recognizable in a list of computers, you can press the scan button > scan to computer > select the computer
You may also scan to a USB drive by plugging it in to the port on the front of the machine and selecting “scan to USB” from the touchscreen menu.
