As workspace operators ourselves at Lokaal, we knew we’d need to provide dividers to encourage coworkers to return to our space and feel safe, but we couldn’t bear the thought of contributing to all the plastic waste that acrylic plexiglass dividers will be creating around the world. Not to mention the high cost of acrylic and the clinical/institutional feel they create. We turned to the award-winning commercial office interiors & product designers at Dubbeldam for a more elegant, affordable and people-centred solution.

Made from recycled plastic bottles.

Manufactured from 100% polyester fibers containing at least 60% post consumer recycled content, the panels themselves are 100% recyclable, contain no VOC’s, resist bacterial and fungal growth and are colour fast (won’t fade over time). Single-use plastic bottles made of Poly-Ethylene Terephthalate (aka PET) are the “recycled content” for this incredible acoustic synthetic felt product, a not-so-distant cousin of fleece. It’s the “PET” in deskPET!

The deskPET is EASY to…

• Clean: should the material become soiled, simply rinse with a warm water and mild soap solution, then pat dry.

• Disinfect: spray with a >60% alcohol solution and let air dry to kill viruses and germs. No wiping necessary. Bleach not recommended.

• Install: no tools required, assembled in under 30 seconds.

• Pin-up: dense panels are perfect for pin-up

• Store: unique self-interlocking corners simply come apart so panels can be stored flat.
